How to manage your Google Maps budget and billing alerts?
The
steps are as follows :
- Go to the Google Platform Console
- Open the left-hand menu and click Billing.
- If you have more than one billing account, select Go to a linked billing account to manage the current project's billing. To locate a different billing account, select Manage billing accounts.
- On the left menu, click Budgets & Alerts, then click Create Budget on the right.
In the form that opens:
Enter a Budget Name for your billing alert.
Select the appropriate billing account for this budget
Set the Budget Amount. To stay within Google’s free credits, you can set it to $200.

In the Set Budget Alerts section, enter the percentage of the budget at which you want an alert to be triggered. The corresponding spend amount will be calculated automatically.
Alternatively, you can use the default percentages: 50%, 90%, and 100%.

That’s it! You can edit your budget at any time by going to the Budgets & Alerts section and selecting your budget from the list.
